GCH Custom Third Brake Light Camera Installation - 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty- Video
Hi, John with etrailer. If you're looking to keep an eye on the cargo in your truck-bed, then checkout this GCH third brake light camera that we installed on our 2019 Ford F250 Super Duty. You guys that have the tailgate cameras know that if you have a tailgate down, you're just getting a view of your trailer hitch, the bumper hitch down there. Now, in a gooseneck or a fifth-wheel situation, that's not gonna help you out at all, so if we switch back now to that camera, we do have a clear shot of our trailer, and it's gonna help us backup and line up to it. So, a lot of you guys out there with toolboxes, you asked the question, "Is the toolbox gonna block the view" And in our case today, it does. Now, you can do a couple of things to alleviate this, obviously if you know, if you're working out there, you need a toolbox, they do have the ones that are flush-mounted with the side of the bed, so that would probably allow more of a field of view, so that you could see your gooseneck ball here. more

Durabilt 1/2 Inch Safety Chain Connectors Review - 2018 Ford F-250 Super Duty- Video
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, these hammer lock coupling links from Durabilt on our 2018 Ford F250 Super Duty. So what these are gonna do is go through the safety chain loops on your truck here, and give you a good place to hook in your safety chains, whether you've got these oversized ones, or maybe some smaller, more standard sizes. That gives you a nice, easy place to connect because the safety chain loops on our F250 here aren't very easy to hook up to. You can see the smaller one, there's not really a great way to get it on there. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt OEM fifth wheel rail adapter here on our 2022 Ford F-250. This rail adapter here is gonna allow you to mount a fifth wheel hitch that mounts using above bed industry standard rails into your truck here with the factory prep package. Now I know a lot of you guys who've been fifth wheel towing for a while, you already have a fifth wheel hitch that you really like, but you've just recently upgraded trucks that now has the factory prep package. Now there are some fifth wheel hitch options that mount directly to the factory prep package, but let's say you don't wanna buy a new fifth wheel hitch, you just wanna be able to reuse your old fifth wheel hitch. Well, that's where this rail adapter comes into play. On the top of our fifth wheel hitch rail adapter, we're gonna have three rectangular cutouts. more

Today on our 2021 Ford F250, we're gonna be taking a look at the Buyers Products headache rack for your over the cab ladder rack. So this is gonna be a cool addition to add to your ladder rack. So it's gonna be for the Buyers Products over the cab ladder rack. Cool thing about this is it's going to kind of just allow your truck to do a little bit more and just protect it too, because my truck, I use it to work. I don't really want to have to worry about it. A lot of times I'm just sitting here kind of throwing stuff into the bed of my truck. more

Durabilt Hammer Lock Coupling Link Installation - 2012 Ford F-250 Super Duty- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer today on our 2012 Ford F-250. We're gonna be checking out the durable hammerlock coupling link. One of the big problems that a lot of people run into with a truck like this, is the OEM hitch. They give you an itty bitty safety chain opening. I have no idea why they do that. They know people are gonna be pulling some big trailers around, and they give you the smallest opening available you can hardly get any safety chains on there. more

Ola neighbors, It's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the vehicle specific wiring harness piggyback for the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite, on a 2022 Ford F-250. Having vehicles specific harness is going to allow you to plug in directly to your factory tow plug on your vehicle. And this does come with the kit and you can splice this in, but I'm a big fan of the plug and play aspect of having a vehicle specific harness, and that way you know it's gonna be hooked up correctly and you're not having to go back and troubleshoot. As opposed to our included harness, the vehicle specific one actually has a very nice OEM plug and a nice sheathing that goes around it, and that's gonna protect these wires from any chafing that might make contact in the dash. Now, I'm gonna show you how that harness makes this installation nice and easy. The first part of the installation is really planning it out how you want it to look and how it's going to sit on your dash, so, here we have the trailer brake kinda spacer here, and that's gonna be nice, it gives it a good look on the knob. more

Today, I'm going to walk you through how to install the Reese Universal Base Rails and a Quick Install Custom Bracket Kit on our 2019 Ford F250.This is what our base rails are going to look like in the bed of our truck. You can see they're really not going to take up a whole lot of space. They're only going to stick up about an inch and a half. So, they're really not going to come up too high. Not really going to interfere with anything. more

Truck Bed Cargo Camera Installation - 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Ford F250 Super Duty, we're going to be installing a truck bed cargo camera, part number 3460001. This camera's going to give you an alternate view when backing up behind you. So if you've got a trailer behind you, the one that's currently installed, it's pointed down at your hitch and will likely be blocked by your trailer. Well with the flick of a button, you can switch to your other view, which is going to give you a more wide birds eye type of view so you can see more around you and also more of your trailer.Now there is a switch that comes included with your kit, however, we decided to opt ours to install into one of the factory auxiliary switches. So on our Super Duty here, this is where your factory camera's going to be located. And our camera as you can see is underneath of our third brake lamp there. more
